I have discovered that in a chaotic world where love seems to be dwindling, I want to raise the standard in my own life of how I love people I live with, and people that surround me in my community. You may have noticed that we still have a lot of hate that festers in our country, but I believe this can be turned around. And it starts with what Michael Jackson wrote about it in a song years ago: The Man in the MIrror.

That is part of the reason why I am writing this blog today. I have not been too faithful with writing these and I apologize to all my faithful readers. Also, I am humbled by how you take the time to read the stuff that passes through my brain. I have been involved in multiple projects, but I see the great need to continue to spread the message that we need to see everything and everyone through the eyes of love. We need to ask the question, "What About Love?" Sort of when the old saying would help us to stop and think when we thought, "What would Jesus do?" (WWJD). It was a phenomenon with WWJD bracelets that trended in the 1990's. However, it's funny how that came from a book in the 1800's. It took over a hundred years for people to start thinking about it again. Therefore, my challenge is for us to start thinking again about asking the question, "What About Love?" Could we transform the world by focusing on living our lives by asking that question in whatever situation we are in? Especially when people are hurting us or trying to destroy our reputation? Can we love beyond the pain that others or life brings to us?

Admittedly, I think about the craziness in our world, and I wonder how I could change the evilness in Myanmar, or the hatred we still see in our own streets. However, I need to remember that my greatest impact are with those that live with me, those I work with, those I am in contact with, those in my community, and the strangers God puts in my lane. With that in mind, I don't think it's in our natural capacity to love like Jesus wants us to love. I believe we need to create space where God can put His loving DNA in our bodies so that we can love better, love more, love deeply. So although my challenge was for all of us to ask the question, "What About Love," in every situation and with every person. The most urgent appeal I make is for you to move forward on your knees and pray for God's love to flood your heart. We need to march to a different drum if we are to make a difference. I love the one line in Bethel's song, "Revival's in the Air," that says, "Marching on our knees, we march to love." I want to encourage all of us to march on our knees and march every step to God's love and praying for His love to fill us. So move forward on your knees and pray for His love to flow through you.
